Quite a few times recently I have found items that are better and cheaper than Home Depot or more stylish and cheaper. It does look a bit run down when you get in there and the people are even less helpful than Home Depot if you can believe that. But the deals are definitely worth it and lately Ive even been finding helpful employees.

I asked for the manager that is never present, I asked for district manager and was given the corporate office phone number. Basically everyone passes the buck and no one takes the responsibility of their action. Horrible service, incompetent and unknowledgable employees and cheap materials on top of everything else. Lowes and Home Depot have better materials and great customer service.

It’s like a Fry’s Electronics but for construction/home improvement supplies. Every time Ive been there it takes forever just to get out with something simple. Considering how bad the customer service is youd think the pricing would be better. Time is money, and i wasted both by visiting there. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
This hardware store is such a well-kept secret that many contractors don’t even know about it. You’ll only see hard-core workers or do-it-yourselfers on a super-tight budget. No pretty garden center or furniture to distract you and some of the lights are out in the back rows.

The redwood fence boards here, in my opinion, look much better and feel sturdier than those at Lowes or the Home Depot. They also offer delivery - the three times I ordered wood for delivery, it would always arrive the next day. I would suggest going to their "drive-thru" lumber yard to look at the different wood they have - you can just walk in there; you dont have to take your car in the drive-thru. Overall, great products and great delivery service. This place is the worst hardware store special order serivce I have ever been to.
What a disaster , customer service is at 0 and employees are lazy and make mistakes after mistakes. After spending an hour, by the cashier at service desk, he finally place my orders in the computer. He had at least 5 distractions by phone and other employees. After two weeks, and several phone calls, they delivered the wrong items.

I probably would have paid nearly double at the big chains for what I got at this store. The store is quite large and certainly no frills here as they aren’t trying to lure customers with a comfortable and beautifully designed store. The secret here I used to think was that it was cheap but much lower quality than Home Depot.
Next day I waited two hours and no show. I called the store at 11.30 to be told that no.one wrote on the delivery chart. So no one knew that items needed to be delivered. After another 30 minutes over the phone I was told the item will be delivered later on that day. After another hour of waiting I got another call that two of the doors, are damaged and they dont have them in the store. Bottom line they werent even sure if I can get them.the same day and might even be on another day.
So next time you’re in the market for home remodeling, before you go to Home Depot or Lowe’s, give this place a look-see. Supply warehouse to have an idea of floorings, tubs, doors, cabinets, tools etc., and everything you can think of as building materials to improve your home. I was impressed of their selections and was so indecisive of what to pick. Prices seem slightly less than Home Depot but customer service is very poor.
